No problem. About Canadian dollars, it's worth more then the US dollar finally (1.03 US)! If you're from the Eurozone, I'm clueless myself (I think most Apple goods are expensive overseas anyways so converting values might be pointless) :p

Maybe the easiest way would be to have a program that creates a shuffled playlist which you could then open in a player. Most playlist formats are plain text and fairly simple.
If your player of choice can accept a playlist as a command-line arg, perhaps you could automatically launch the player and have it start playing the shuffled playlist.

It wouldnt work 100% accurately. just wait for the unlock from Dev team, the unlock would definietly arrive when ios5 hits. which is in 2 months. So keep your fingers crossed
If your iPhone is still on 1.59.00 then it's definitely a soft unlock.

OP: I would go with citenzens idea of the birds, otherwise I have found that the only good way to "Create" clouds (besides excellent freehand draw/paint skills) is to clone existing clouds and use a combination of brushes and layers to blend them. into the shape you want.

wasn't entirely sure where to put this, so apologies.
i recently bought a blackberry curve 8520, and it has never shown up on my mac, this hasn't really been a problem as i just charge it via the mac, but now i want to add some music, and bluetooth, nor physically connecting the blackberry works.
bluetooth returns errors, and it plain wont show up on my mac, even in disk utility.
i have the blackberry auto - mass storage drive as 'yes'
any help would be appreciated.

As a product of the Minnesota Public School system, I can tell you, without a doubt, that there was no "pushing out" of minority students. There was no "perpetuating white privilege".
And people still have the nerve to complain about school budget cuts. Maybe if we didn't send our teachers to crap "seminars" like this, we could have newer text books, or higher on another teacher, or whatever it is people think we need.
Did you even bother to go to the WPC website and read about them, or is this simply some knee jerk reaction you're parroting from a right wing bloviator?

My new BTO Air (1.6/4/128)'s shipping was estimated at 3 days, ordered on Friday. It and the ext SuperDrive both shipped by Monday and arrived at my doorstep on Wednesday. (SD shipped from Singapore, Mac shipped from Shanghai)
I guess it depends where the item ships from. If it's from the US (some people have reported that Apple refurbs ship from the US now, some say China) then I guess it should be similar since the estimated shipping time is the same. From China I'd add a few days to the equation.
BTW refurbs only come in a plain white box, no retail packaging, so if you're planning on giving this as a gift, keep that in mind.

Greetings.
I have an AEBS in the front of my apartment that is extended to an AE that's in my apartment's hallway. Is there a way for me to set up the AE to only accept connections from the devices in my room and force all other machines to connect to the AEBS instead?
I feel like there is a bedroom that's smothering my AE, essentially rending my Internet useless back in my bedroom on many occasions. It seems to happen when the other bedroom is streaming stuff.

I'm talking about the animals getting large dose exposures, like around the Japanese reactors. Birds get exposed then fly away and settle in populated areas. It was my understanding the this much radiation takes hundreds of years to dissipate. So if we assume the birds in my example don't get eaten by other animals (or be eaten by humans), if any exposed animals died they would still be radioactive and a health hazard to people coming across their bodies.
And what of the radiation the Japanese plants are pouring into the ocean, which can expose ocean life, that people might eat later in other countries?
I usually try to avoid dead, wild animals as a matter of course.
The radiation in the water is of concern to fish and seaweed nearby. They're already assuming seafood consumption will go down in Japan and imported meats will go up.

This thread may seem pointless at first, as there is no built-in preference pane that allows to change the boot screen. However, a developper has made the BootXChanger (http://namedfork.net/bootxchanger) app, which allows for easy customization of both the image and the background color shown when booting.

EDIT: obviously posting a screenshot will require some basic photo editing work, but nothing too much for most.
I have included this icon and others I made (except the Happy Mac which I only enlarged).

The simple answer is as many as you want: There are no limits apart from with MobileMe: you can only have a single MobileMe account.
