Hello I'm new to the forums and to Motion and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make a constant thin sparkly line.
1. Library -> Particle Emitters -> Glitter Sparkles -> Apply
2. Open Layer Panel
3. Delete bottom 2 layers
4. Click on Glitter Sparkles main layer group
5. Go to Inspector tab -> Emitter tab
6. Set Shape to Line
7. Set Start Point X to -(1/2 of the size of your canvas)
8. Set End Point X to 1/2 of the size of your canvas.
9. Change color over time features to suit your color needs
10. Adjust Life parameter to suit your needs.
I've attached a render of what it might look like.

Funny in the beginning but it got old. With advertising you don't want to keep replaying the same old same old. People start tuning out.

What does contentsOfDirectoryAtPath:error: return? If you add that to an NSMutableArray does that actually get you what you want? As an even less subtle hint does adding an NSArray to a NSMutableArray result in a NSMutableArray with all the objects from the NSArray or containing the NSArray which, in turn, contains the objects?

Just took a look at the software and am downloading it right now to check it out in demo mode. I am looking forward to cataloging a number of videos, books, etc., as well as having a way to share said resources with family and friends.

There is no real way of knowing unless you were to bug and spy on every single person who has anything to do with apple-at the workplace and at home. This means that it could be or it couldn't be. There still working out the bugs. I think the gamingmachines are going first before they get back and work on the Intel Mac version. Or they are waiting for leopard and that will magically erase all the bugs! :D

So I bought windows 7 and downloaded the iso. I used windows 7 usb/dvd download tool to make my usb bootable with the windows 7 iso. I installed rEFIt. When I restart and select the windows usb icon it loads and I get the error "no bootable device - insert disk..... "
I have no idea what is wrong ugh! I looked through a lot of threads and nothing is helping.

i heard some really nice song in a techno club several years ago but i simply don't know the name or the artist. but i still remember the the tunes. i hope you guys can help me out. i recorded some whistling and beatboxing to make it easier for you to find the songs. there are 2 songs. one is russian for sure and the other one i have no idea about. i uploaded the .wma files on megaupload. thx for you help

I've been trying to make an image of my hard drive so I can burn it to a CD or a DVD. I want to do a sparse image. When I do it, I always get errors. Usually something stating the disk is in use. I even get similar errors when I boot from my Panther CD and try to use that Disk Utility. What am I doing wrong?

hi i just need some help on the two systems, the mini and the normal mbox.
so at my university labs they have the (m-audio axiom) midi controller keyboard connected to the mbox which is connected to the computer...
but with the mbox mini , i read that u cant connect midi controllers to, so would you have to connect the midi keyboard via usb to computer then connect the mbox via usb to computer also?
whats the difference between connecting the midi keyboard to mbox to computer... and just connecting both direct to computer??? does this mean i have to use pro tools m-powered with the axiom midi keyboard?
im poor and i just want to be able to use the midi keyboard controller with pro tools and mix music and write songs... will the mbox mini do that?

You can use an Apple TV or use an iPod/iPhone and connect with a Composite/Component Cable to view your images on the TV.

Nevermind. The solution was as easy as deleting from iTunes (but retaining the files) and then adding them back into iTunes.

The radiation in the water is of concern to fish and seaweed nearby. They're already assuming seafood consumption will go down in Japan and imported meats will go up.My thought is that these sea creatures are not limited to staying near Japan. They could migrate and be eaten in another part of the world or expose other sea creatures during their travels.
Considering anything near radiation also becomes contaminated, seems to me an animal spread of it would be a huge concern.
