    Yes, but you are limited to very low powered devices, I believe it is 10 ma or less, in effect only the SD adaptor works, to use the USB adapter you must add a self powered hub.....

    Does iPhone need to be jailbroken to support SD Adapter? I was under impression Camera Connection kit only worked with iPad (power issues aside)?

    Have you actually used SD Adapter with an iPhone?

    Yes, you'll need a video card. Onboard video would work fine for something like that -- I have a headless file server that I sometimes need to plug a monitor into if the VNC is being a pain.

    It seems to me that the French generally don't have issues with Lance, but there is a small (yet vocal) minority that is very anti-Lance. I guess the French don't have much tolerance for Texans... ;)

    To be honest I'd like to see if Ulrich can win again post-Lance - he was always a great sportsman and his rivalry with Lance (while a bit hyped) was very entertaining to watch.

    The French Press HATES Lance.

    I am thinking about driving home next weekend from school so it's possible that I might attend the Leopard launch in Wellington. My parents live in Royal Palm Beach so it's not far. If I drive home, I'll come back and update my status so we can meet up there.

    Can you take the check to the company store and have them do a special/bto order, so you pay there but get it sent to you from the factory?

    I have to take the check to the store. I'm just not sure what their policy is on upgrades. I read on the forums that sometimes they keep iBooks with bigger HD's in stock because it's a popular upgrade.

    Thanks again for the advice. I have been wanting to buy an iBook for a long time.

    Why wouldn't you use the same metrics you use for any other software?

    How much CPU does the stuff you're serving require? How much disk space? How fast of disk?

    I'm not sure why using a machine as a server makes some special case. Figure out what your server software needs.

    Is it still ok to buy an iPhone right now? I don't want to go and get one and it become outdated next month. Also I'm assuming the next iPhone won't look dramatically different.

    I recently saw a pc with OSX running on it. And that's neat. I'm mainly a Windows user but I've remained respectful to Apple hardware but I can't stand OSX. It's stable and it's easy to use but I much rather prefer the unrestricted control a knowledgeable user can have over Windows. Thus leads me to my question;

    Has anyone gotten or heard of anyone getting Windows to run on a Mac without an excruciatingly slow emulator? Is there any chance of this happening in the future?

    In the future it can be done with virtualisation

    I really thought that his retirement after this year's Tour was very classy - it is rare (and refreshing) to see somebody going out on top. But it's his call.

    As to his fitness, I'm sure few people doubt he is capable of winning an 8th Tour (heck, he could probably go for 10 and do it) - but he knows his own fitness best.

    Maybe the controversy surrounding the L'Equipe accusations have made him want to stick it to the naysayers?

    I just hope Lance doesn't end up like Michael Jordan...
